ELIZABETH DONEY

Paralegal and Legal Assistant

Elizabeth joined Rower LLC as a paralegal and legal assistant in 2022. She is originally from Tampa, Florida, and graduated summa cum laude from the honors program at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center Campus, majoring in political science with minors in economics and peace and justice studies. As an undergraduate, Elizabeth studied international and human rights law, sparking her interest in advocacy that brought her to Rower LLC as an assistant.

During her time at Fordham, Elizabeth interned at Tampa City Council, the Lauder Institute at the Wharton School of Business, and the International Rescue Committee’s New York field office. She also conducted independent research on gender-based violence in conflict, publishing her honors thesis in the Yale Review of International Studies. After graduation, Elizabeth spent a year serving as an AmeriCorps member with City Year New York, mentoring fourth and fifth grade students in East Harlem. She hopes to pursue law school in the next few years with a focus on family law.

When she is not at work, Elizabeth loves to read literary fiction, cook elaborate meals for her friends, and volunteer with a local dog rescue. She is passionate about seeing the world, and travels as often as possible.
