Makhi joined Rower LLC as a paralegal and legal assistant in 2026. He is originally from Maryland and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in philosophy, politics, and economics, concentrating in public policy and governance and minoring in computer science.

Prior to joining Rower, Makhi gained experience working in legislative affairs and campaign finance, where he developed a strong interest in the ways public policy and government institutions directly affect individuals and families. Along the way, he worked closely with complex regulatory and governmental processes and further developed his analytical and communication skills. That work inspired him to pursue a legal career dedicated to serving others by helping clients navigate challenges and advocating for their interests within a complex legal system. He plans to attend law school and is excited to build a foundation in family law before pursuing that next step.

Outside of work, Makhi enjoys playing chess in the park, playing guitar, and staying active through running. He hopes to one day complete the New York City Marathon, a longtime personal goal.
