Aliya joined Rower LLC as a paralegal and legal assistant in 2026. She graduated magna cum laude from Williams College with an honors degree in history and economics. In her coursework, Aliya focused on American foreign relations and wrote a thesis about nineteenth-century tariff policy.

While at Williams, Aliya was managing editor of the student newspaper and interned with a journalism nonprofit, reporting on everything from campus protests to nationwide maternal health inequities. Aliya now brings her editorial skills to paralegal work, supporting attorneys with well-organized and precise material. As an undergraduate, Aliya also tutored incarcerated adults, which developed her interest in compassionately supporting people through difficult situations.

Outside of work, Aliya enjoys solving and constructing crossword puzzles, reading non-fiction, trying new foods, and practicing yoga.
