MEGHAN PATZER
Associate
Meghan joined Rower LLC as an associate in 2023. Meghan leverages her financial acumen in negotiating prenuptial agreements and divorces that involve complex and non-traditional compensation structures for individuals who work in private equity, hedge funds, and startups. She also draws upon her experience with financial analysis while consulting on mediated divorces.
Prior to joining Rower, Meghan was an associate in the litigation group at Davis Polk, where she worked primarily on white-collar investigations and dealt extensively with government agencies on behalf of large institutional clients. Before beginning her career in law, Meghan was a legal analyst at Goldman Sachs, where she supported hundreds of financing transactions, including a variety of high-profile initial public offerings.
Meghan’s interest in family law grew out of coursework undertaken during her time in law school. Her commitment to the field was further cemented through her pro bono work at Davis Polk, including representing domestic violence survivors and their children.
Meghan graduated from Georgetown University, magna cum laude, with degrees in English and government. She later attended New York University School of Law, from which she received her JD in 2020. While at NYU, she served as an editor of the Annual Survey of American Law and was a teaching assistant in Civil Procedure.
Originally from Chicago, Meghan now splits her time between New York and San Francisco with her husband and two sons.
